Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced UI/UX Specialist to lead human-centered design for the Case Management Modernization program across federal courts. You will craft intuitive dashboards, analytics interfaces, and AI-enabled visuals aligned with 508/WCAG standards.

You will translate research into prototypes, partner with BI and engineering, and drive usability testing across Agile sprints to ensure adoption and accessibility at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience in information systems and 8+ years in UI/UX design.
• 5+ years in a Human-Centered Design role supporting enterprise or government applications.
• Expertise in usability testing methodologies and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Axure, Storybook).
• Strong Agile/SAFe experience and design governance.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3 and responsive UI to collaborate with front-end developers.
• Experience designing for federal systems with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive dashboards, self-service reporting interfaces, and predictive analytics screens.
• Translate UX research into high-fidelity prototypes and interface specs.
• Collaborate with BI, data engineers, and developers to align visuals with data models and KPIs.
• Conduct usability testing and apply findings in sprint iterations.
• Define visualization and navigation standards to ensure consistency and interpretability.
• Support rapid prototyping and validation within Agile sprints.
