Job summary

Venon Solutions LLC is seeking a User Interface (UI) Engineer passionate about games, with strong C++, UI development, gameplay, and console development skills. You will help build features across UI, gameplay, and platforms to impact players’ experiences.

The role offers 100% remote work and a long-term independent contractor engagement, with full-time EST hours and collaboration across teams. Strong English and cross-disciplinary communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, information technology, or related field.
• Advanced level of English (B2/C1) for fluent communication across teams.
• Exceptional C++ programming skills.
• Experience developing UI features for games across multiple platforms.
• Knowledge of networking, rendering, and other systems affecting quality and performance.
• General experience with web services; Unreal Engine development experience.
• Passion for games and great user experiences.
• UMG and Slate experience a plus.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with art and design leads to ensure UI meets aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Attend to details, focusing on compliance, layout, and design.
• Architect, plan, and implement new UI systems.
• Optimize and fix bugs in existing UI systems.
• Contribute ideas toward all aspects of game production and development.
• Write robust, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and programmers on features supporting player experiences across Fortnite.
