Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a UI Programmer for a 9-12 month contract to work on games, with a focus on C++, UI development, gameplay, and console development. You will build features across UI, gameplay, and platforms to impact players.

You'll collaborate with art and design leads, architect and implement new UI systems, optimize existing ones, and write robust, maintainable code for Fortnite-related work alongside a team of artists, designers, and programmers.

Qualifications

• Exceptional C++ programming skills.
• Knowledge of networking, rendering, and systems impacting quality and performance.
• General experience with web services.
• Passion for games and great user experiences.
• Keen analytical mind and mature problem-solving skills.
• UMG and Slate experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect, plan, and implement new UI systems.
• Optimize and fix bugs in existing UI systems.
• Collaborate with art and design leads to ensure UI meets aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Write robust, maintainable code.
• Work closely with artists, designers and other programmers on features that support player experiences across Fortnite.
