Job summary

OWT Global LLC is seeking UAS Airspace Integration System (UAIS) Field Service Engineers to support operation and sustainment of airspace management tech at DoW locations. Remote in US, with significant travel for site surveys, training, and support.

The role requires familiarity with UAS operations, FAA Part 107, airspace management, or military aviation. Travel typically 1–2 weeks per trip and approximately 50% of work is on-site in DoW locations.

Qualifications

• Experience with UAS and/or Counter-UAS systems.
• Ability to learn new concepts and equipment.
• Experience with data analysis, data collection, and visualization tools.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues in dynamic operational environments.
• Ability to work independently in on-site and field environments while coordinating with government, engineering, and operational stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain and maintain base access/credentialing (security clearance requirements as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot UAIS systems.
• Coordinate with government personnel, airspace managers, UAS operators and stakeholders for safe operations.
• Support integration with air domain awareness and C-UAS systems.
• Provide reach-back support and interface with engineering for updates and issue resolution.
• Develop and update system documentation and operational logs.
• Deliver user training and SOP development support.
• Support site surveys, testing, and sustainment at DoW locations.
• Analyze system data to identify issues and improvements.
• Communicate technical observations to engineering teams.
• Maintain awareness of FAA/DoW requirements affecting UAS operations.
