Job summary

ICF is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Software Engineer to lead mission-critical initiatives for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). You will design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, Kotlin, and TypeScript, working with Oracle and SQL Server databases in AWS GovCloud.

You will participate in the full SDLC, collaborate with product owners and DevSecOps teams, and deliver secure software solutions that meet government standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for enterprise applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Java or Kotlin and TypeScript.
• Experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud or other secure cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the SDLC for mission-critical applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, Kotlin, and TypeScript.
• Develop and optimize database solutions in Oracle and SQL Server.
• Build and support cloud-based solutions within AWS GovCloud.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with product owners, architects, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps teams.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality and security.
• Create and maintain technical documentation reflecting system architecture and implementation details.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and DoD policies.
• Prepare executive-level briefings and status reports for government stakeholders.
