Responsibilities

• Pitch timely story ideas based on news cycles and audience interest.
• Report and write original articles on quick turnaround timelines.

Skills

Strong general-assignment reporting skills

Excellent writing, editing, and headline-writing skills

Familiarity with AP style

Experience interviewing sources
