TheTravel, part of Valnet Publishing Group, is seeking freelance travel writers who are constantly on the move. Write about places, parks, stays and trips you’ve actually visited, with published work to back it up. If you travel often and return with stories and recommendations, we want you.

Requirements include 3+ years in travel writing or related fields, a journalism degree or equivalent, and SEO/CMS familiarity. This is a fully remote, flexible role with clear visibility to a large audience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years producing travel content or professional experience in travel/hospitality with published work.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field, or equivalent experience.
• SEO knowledge and CMS experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pitch and write based on your own travels.
• Provide honest, practical insights on destinations and planning.
• Track article performance and use results to improve future work.
• Follow TheTravel Editorial Guidelines and implement feedback quickly.
• Meet deadlines and submit consistently.
