Job summary

The candidate should have a Dental Assistant Certification, at least 2 years of experience, and BLS; radiology certification is a plus. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with full health benefits and 401k options.

Qualifications

• Certification from an accredited program or relevant on-the-job experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• BLS certification and preferred radiology certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental services including exams, restorative treatments, oral health education, and preventive care.
• Diagnose and treat patients within professional scope and IHS standards.
• Assist in patient care processes, ensuring adherence to safety, infection control, and IHS standards.
• Complete and maintain patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Dental Record (EDR).
• Comply with Joint Commission and CMS standards in a culturally competent manner.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and adher to IHS and service unit policies.
