Job summary

Medium in Yuma, AZ is seeking a Contract Dental Assistant to support dental services, exams, and preventive care. The role involves maintaining EHR/EDR records, adhering to IHS standards, and contributing to quality assurance while working across multiple sites.

$70,000 - $75,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Provide dental services including exams, restorative treatments, oral health education, and preventive care.
• Diagnose and treat patients within professional scope and IHS standards.
• Assist in patient care processes, ensuring adherence to safety, infection control, and IHS standards.
• Complete and maintain patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Dental Record (EDR).
• Comply with Joint Commission and CMS standards in a culturally competent manner.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and adhere to IHS and service unit policies.

Varies by location; typically Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with some locations requiring flexibility for longer shifts.
