Job summary

Intuitive Psychiatry in San Francisco seeks a Trauma-Informed Mindfulness & Wellness Skills Coach to provide non-clinical, non-therapy wellness support to adult outpatients in California. This is an independent contractor role with remote work, overlapping US Pacific Time, and initial 10–20 hours weekly.

You will teach breathwork, mindfulness, grounding, and sleep-support skills; create personalized routines; and facilitate live group sessions, while maintaining safety, boundaries, and clear

Qualifications

• Clear, warm communication with US-based adults.
• Formal training in mindfulness, breathwork, yoga-informed wellness, or health coaching.
• Trauma-informed care with emphasis on consent and patient autonomy.
• Coaching certification or equivalent health-coaching education.
• Yoga teacher training or related education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial wellness consultations for clinician-referred patients.
• Develop individualized wellness routines aligned with care plans.
• Teach breathwork, mindfulness, grounding, and sleep-support skills.
• Facilitate live virtual wellness-skills groups.
• Document activities and communicate clinically relevant concerns to providers.
• Maintain safety, boundaries, and confidentiality.
