Job summary

Aypa Power is seeking a Transmission Planning Engineer to perform transmission system modeling and power-flow studies. You will be part of a multi-functional team, providing analytical support to our innovative renewable energy projects.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience with power-flow software and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. The position offers a remote work option in the USA along with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience with TARA, PSSE, or PSLF.
• Strong understanding of NERC planning standards is a plus.
• Experience in electric markets like CAISO or PJM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for BESS and renewable projects.
• Perform power-flow analysis for new generation interconnections.
• Prepare reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
