Job summary

AECOM Corporation seeks a Transmission and Distribution Civil Engineer for a remote US role. You will design overhead transmission lines, prepare packages, and use PLS-CADD tools. Expect collaboration with internal teams and field support across multiple states.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree with EIT/FE and 2 years in transmission line design, plus CAD/PLS-CADD experience. Travel to client sites may be required, and relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field plus 2 years of experience.
• EIT or FE certification or ability to obtain within six months.
• 2 years of transmission line design experience and CAD/PLS-CADD familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis and design for overhead transmission lines.
• Prepare construction packages with drawings, specs and calculations.
• Use PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER and related tools daily.
• Support project lifecycle tasks including scope, cost, and schedule.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams and provide field verification.
