Job summary

nVent seeks a Training Specialist to empower customers with hands-on instruction for data center cooling products. You will deliver onsite and virtual sessions, develop manuals and presentations, and manage LMS tasks while collaborating with Sales and Support to tailor programs. Travel 25–50% to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience delivering technical product training and writing materials for customers.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into learner-friendly content.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with LMS or remote training platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple training sessions independently.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work 100% remotely from a home office in the US.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite and virtual training sessions for customers on installation, operation, and maintenance of data center cooling products.
• Develop and deliver training materials, including manuals, presentations, and hands-on demonstrations.
• Facilitate engaging sessions using demos and guided practice; travel to customer sites as needed.
• Manage virtual course setup, enrollment, attendance tracking, completions, and surveys in the LMS.
• Provide technical support and mentorship during installation and maintenance with the Services team.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service to identify training needs and create programs.
• Ensure customers are trained and confident using our products to improve efficiency and satisfaction.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and adapt materials for clarity and learner effectiveness.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve training programs.
• Travel to customer locations as needed to deliver onsite training.
