You will be a domain authority for Data Solutions products, provide technical support, and lead cost/supply initiatives while working remotely and traveling across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Data Center cooling, infrastructure, design, and construction.
• 5+ years in a technical application's role supporting Data Center product solutions preferred.
• Willingness to work 100% remotely and travel ~30% across US/Canada.
• Strong background in Air and Liquid Cooling Solutions for Data Centers.
• Familiarity with Data Center Power Architecture from UPS to rack/equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mentality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a domain authority for nVent Data Solutions products and applications across Sales, PM, Ops, etc.
• Provide first-line product support to customers and colleagues using Data Solutions and Electrical Connections.
• Evaluate RFQs and build costing/quotes with technical and commercial content.
• Provide technical assistance to identify modified/engineered products for customer specs.
• Prepare and submit quotations and proposals for non-standard products using CPQ/ERP systems.
• Conduct product training for customers and distributors on quoting tools.
• Prepare compliance documents against customer specifications.
• Lead strategic projects for product improvements, cost reduction, and new development.
• Review training literature for accuracy of installation guides and procedures.
