Job summary

Jazwares, LLC is seeking a Toy Designer to develop innovative toy lines for market-leading brands. You will lead the design process from initial sketches to production, collaborating with brand management and manufacturing to deliver user-centric play experiences while maintaining costs, quality, and timelines.

The role requires a strong portfolio, 3–5 years in hard/soft goods design, and advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills.

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of relevant design and development experience in hard goods (action figures, plastics, playsets) and soft goods (plush, textiles) with a strong portfolio.
1+ years of experience collaborating with global manufacturing factories (Asia preferred).
Deep understanding of the competitive marketplace, industry trends, and licensed brand guidelines.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) with detailed control drawings and rendered concepts.
Exceptional communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Adaptable, detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end product design lifecycle by generating innovative toy concepts and monitoring industry trends.
Ensure designs meet target costs and QA/QC requirements while supporting strategic goals.
Collaborate cross-functionally with brand management, engineering, packaging, and licensors.
Pitch concepts to brand, development, management, and licensor teams and build consensus.
