Job summary

MEP is seeking an Assistant Company Manager for the national tour of The Hip Hop Nutcracker, starting October 19, 2026. The role collaborates with the Company Manager and General Management on day-to-day tour logistics.

The ideal candidate has prior touring experience with one-night and split-week engagements, strong communication and financial skills, and a proactive, highly organized approach to fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Prior touring experience required, especially with one-night and split-week engagements.
• Strong communication skills, financial acumen and ability to manage fast-paced tour logistics.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, resourceful with proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support Company Manager with payroll, travel, housing, and all tour logistics.
• Manage housing, travel, per diems, and local transportation in each market.
• Supervise company wellbeing, including conflict resolution and HR-related issues.
• Track and reconcile Amex expenses.
• Handle insurance, incident reports, and emergency situations as needed.
• Liaise with presenters/venues on ticket counts, comps, and house seats.
• Maintain contact sheets and up-to-date company documentation.
• Conduct settlements and prepare reports for General Management and Producers.
• Assist with artist health needs including submitting workers' comp claims and liaising with PT team.
