Job summary

MEP is seeking an Assistant Company Manager for the national tour of The Hip Hop Nutcracker. Start date Week of October 19, 2026; rehearsals begin October 26, 2026 in Los Angeles; tour dates run November 14 through January 3, 2027. The position will be remote until November 9. The ideal candidate has touring experience, strong communication, financial acumen, and logistics skills. Responsibilities include payroll, housing, travel, HR support, and settlements.

Qualifications

• Prior touring experience, especially with one-night and split-week engagements.
• Strong communication, financial acumen, and logistics management in fast-paced settings.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, resourceful with proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support Company Manager with payroll, travel, housing, and tour logistics.
• Manage housing, travel, per diems, and local transportation in each market.
• Supervise wellbeing, including conflict resolution and HR matters.
• Track and reconcile Amex expenses.
• Handle insurance, incident reports, and emergencies.
• Liaise with presenters/venues on ticket counts and house seats.
• Maintain contact sheets and company documentation.
• Prepare settlements and reports for General Management and Producers.
• Assist with artist health needs including workers' comp liaison.
