The successful candidate must have native-level fluency in Tongan and at least three years of professional experience, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate translations. Responsibilities include following specific style guides, revising translations per feedback, and maintaining confidentiality. Opportunities for professional development are provided through Mindlink’s Learning Center. This position is available to US-based candidates with a preference for those in Washington and Oregon.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional translation experience.
• Ability to quickly learn and use new softwares.
• Ability to follow instructions, style guides, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and culturally appropriate translations while meeting client deadlines.
• Follow client-specific style guides, glossaries, and terminology.
• Revise translations based on feedback when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics.
