Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking an experienced Legal & Title Analyst to support utility-scale renewable energy projects through title review, survey review, curative actions, and project finance coordination.

This role collaborates with Development, Land, Legal, and Finance teams as well as title companies, surveyors, lenders, and external stakeholders to ensure site control documentation, title policies, and surveys meet investor requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Land Management, Business, Engineering, Legal Studies, or related field.
Minimum five (5) years of experience reviewing title commitments, policies, land agreements, easements, surveys, and real estate docs for energy/infrastructure projects.
Experience coordinating with title companies, surveyors, lenders, and outside consultants.

Responsibilities

Review title commitments, proformas, site control instruments, and related land docs for utility-scale energy projects.
Populate and maintain ENGIE's Title Review Spreadsheet with title requirements and vesting details.
Prepare Title Status Reports summarizing findings, deficiencies, risks, and financing considerations.
Coordinate with title companies and provide redline comments to advance title policies.
Review ALTA/NSPS Surveys to verify compliance with investor and title requirements.
Evaluate easements, corridors, encroachments, and constructability impacts.
Coordinate approved title curative actions with stakeholders.
Attend project meetings and provide bi-weekly written status updates.
