Job summary

Parkway Title, LLC. is seeking a detail-oriented Title Examiner to support our Texas escrow team remotely. You will handle title searches, commitments, and policies with accuracy and timeliness, contributing to smooth closings and outstanding customer service.

A minimum of 3+ years in Texas title examination is required; familiarity with title policies and tools such as SoftPro is preferred. The role rewards precision, teamwork, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of the title information used in the preparation of commitments and base files.
• Perform online title searches and prepare Title Commitments.
• Review deeds and mortgage documents for accuracy and recordability; submit for recording.
• Issue title policies in compliance with closing instructions and ensure accuracy.
• Calculate Title Insurance Premiums for owners and lenders policies.
• Meet prescribed turnaround times by reporting and sending documents within timeframes.
• Maintain exceptional customer service for Escrow staff, attorneys, accounting, underwriters, etc.
• Summarize research findings to assist with the closing process.
• Examine mortgages, liens, judgments, plats, maps, contracts, easements, and surveys.
• Perform other duties as needed.
