Job summary

Fastly is seeking a Threat Detection Analyst to join the Customer Security Operations Centre. You will be at the frontline defending global enterprise customers by monitoring traffic, detecting anomalies, and deploying real-time mitigations against DDoS, Bot, and Web application threats.

You will lead active incident response, tune security policies for MSS clients, and conduct threat hunting to uncover opportunities for hardening.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of web security concepts and OWASP Top 10.
• Ability to interpret and correlate logs from JSON/CSV sources.
• Experience building or tuning security policies and detections.

Responsibilities

• Lead active incident response and mitigate high‑impact events in real time.
• Serve MSS customers with security policy tuning and tailored hardening.
• Perform advanced threat hunting using log data to uncover attacker techniques.
