Job summary

Fortified Health Security is seeking a Threat Defense Engineer to engineer, implement, and optimize the technologies that support our managed security services. You will work across SIEM, EDR/MDR, IoMT, DLP, cloud, network, identity, and other security technologies in a multi-client MSSP environment to ensure platform health and effective detections.

The role focuses on telemetry quality, log management, automation, and scalable architectures, with opportunities for onboarding clients,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or MIS or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in hands-on security platform administration or engineering.
• 2+ years in an MSSP, MDR, or multi-client SOC environment.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, implement, configure, maintain, and optimize security tech across SIEM, EDR/MDR, IoMT, DLP, cloud, and network.
• Partner with clients on onboarding, health reviews, and improvements across multiple lines of business.
• Design, tune, and maintain detections, correlation rules, and security content.
