Coral Shores Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our remote IOP team. The role involves delivering outpatient psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and family therapy for adults and children in a Baker Act facility setting.

The ideal candidate holds a FL LMHC or LCSW license (or Registered Intern) and has at least 1 year of behavioral health experience within a clinical center.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in social work or mental health counseling.
• Licensed in FL LMHC or LCSW or Registered Intern.
• Minimum 1 year experience in behavioral health or psychiatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychotherapy to adults and children.
• Deliver crisis intervention and short/long-term family therapy.

• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.

Position Summary

The IOP Therapist Remote performs Clinical functions to include assisting patients in meeting their goals while enabling them to access, through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching, complete specialized clinical social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, group therapy, providing information and referrals as needed, and individual therapy when ordered by an MD. Provides variety of psychotherapeutic services including, family and individual (adults and children) in an outpatient psychiatric Behavioral Health Center setting. Patient(s), with co-occurring disorders, psychiatric disorders, substance abuse disorders and other behavioral disorders.

Education

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from accredited school in Social Work, or Mental Health Counseling.

Experience

• One (1) year of experience working in a Behavioral Health Center or psychiatric counseling setting with adults and/or children treating co-occurring, mentally ill, or chemically dependent patients, with an understanding of co-occurring disorders, and Cultural Linguistic Diversity amongst patients.

Licensure

• Licensed in FL - LMHC or LCSW, Registered Intern .
