Job summary

Talkiatry is a virtual mental health practice designed to support clinicians with flexible, fully remote outpatient care. This role focuses on independent practice within a structured outpatient model, with 100% remote therapy and comprehensive operational support including scheduling, billing, and credentialing.

Compensation starts at $70k with the ability to earn up to $20k in incentives, plus tenure-based increases and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Independently licensed therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC or equivalent).
• Active, unrestricted license (multi-state licensing support available).
• Two or more independent and active state licenses (except for CA, NY and MA).
• Comfort managing a consistent outpatient caseload.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and independent decision-making.
• Comfort practicing in a fast-paced but sustainable outpatient environment.
• Experience from outpatient, community mental health, hospital, IOP, or other structured clinical settings is highly desired.
• Experience with structured, skills-based modalities (e.g., CBT, ACT, MI, DBT-informed care) is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• 100% remote, outpatient therapy.
• Lower to moderate acuity populations (anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD).
• Standard session lengths (60-minute intakes and follow-ups).
• Consistent outpatient caseload with defined, transparent goals.
• No inpatient, IOP/PHP, or crisis-call responsibilities.
• In-house referral network to/from psychiatrists.
• Full operational support including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, credentialing, and licensing.
