Job summary

Language Services Associates, Inc. seeks on-demand Thai-English interpreters to join its network of Independently Contracted Interpreters. You will provide audio and video interpreting via a web-based platform for LEP communities in various settings and respond to calls as needed.

Applicants should be fluent in English and Thai, comfortable with technology, and able to maintain a quiet, secure workspace. Prior interpreting experience and certifications are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English and Thai.
• Technology proficient (web-based platforms, email, word processing).
• A quiet, secure workspace free from outside noise.
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry-specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web based platform.
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.
• Adhere to policies and professional interpretation protocols and industry-specific best practices.
