Language Services Associates, Inc. is seeking qualified interpreters for on-demand audio/video interpretation in Karen and Thai. You will handle calls through a web-based platform and facilitate communication for LEP communities.

This opportunity is offered within LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters. We value professional conduct, confidentiality, and high-quality customer service. Prior interpretation experience and relevant certifications are preferred but not required for

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English, Karen and Thai.
• Technology proficient with web-based platforms and basic tools (email, word processing).
• A quiet, secure interpreting space and reliable internet connection.
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web based platform.
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices.
