AvonRisk, a leading risk management firm, seeks a Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster II in Texas. You will independently manage indemnity claims from intake to resolution, applying judgment, knowledge of WC statutes, and proactive medical management.

You’ll report to a unit supervisor and handle a diverse book of self-insured client accounts. The role supports remote work with preference for Texas-based candidates, including Austin area, and requires strong reserves, settlements, and

Competenze

• Knowledge of Texas WC statutes and claims handling.
• Experience directing defense counsel and managing litigated claims.
• Proficiency with claims management platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret medical records and IME reports.

Mansioni

• Perform three-point contact within 24 hours on all new losses and analyze case facts.
• Identify fraud indicators and refer to SIU.
• Direct medical management, including treatment authorization and UR/IME direction.
• Establish, monitor, and adjust case reserves within authority.
• Direct defense counsel, set litigation strategy, and manage budgets.
