Varsity Tutors is seeking a Texas-certified teacher to join its Live Learning Platform as a remote tutor. Set your schedule, teach K-12 topics, and earn up to $40 per hour, with pay issued twice weekly.

Applicants must hold an active TEA certificate, knowledge of TEKS standards, and classroom teaching experience in Texas. You''ll diagnose student gaps, adapt pacing, and connect curriculum to individual goals.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Teaching Certificate issued by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
• Experience teaching in a Texas classroom and applying TEKS standards in 1-on-1 instruction.
• Ability to diagnose student gaps, adjust pacing, and explain concepts using multiple methods.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students.
• Accept on-demand tutoring requests as you’re available.
• Utilize Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform and Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions.
