Varsity Tutors is seeking a Texas Certified Teacher to join our Live Learning Platform as a remote tutor. With TEA certification, you’ll bring classroom expertise to flexible online sessions, set your own schedule, and earn competitive rates from home.

Earn up to $40 per hour with incremental pay per session and get paid up to twice weekly for tutoring and invoicing. You’ll tutor 1-on-1 online, connect with students, and leverage AI-powered tools to support adaptive instruction.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Teaching Certificate (Required) – must be current and verifiable by TEA.
• Deep knowledge of your subject area with ability to connect K-12 concepts to student needs.
• Experience teaching in a Texas classroom with TEKS alignment.

Responsibilities

• 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions with students.
• On-demand tutoring availability and scheduling within your own hours.
• Delivery of personalized instruction using our Live Learning Platform.
