Qualifications

• Active Texas Teaching Certificate (Required): Must hold a current, active teaching certificate issued by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
• Subject matter expertise in your certified subject area(s) with ability to connect K-12 concepts to goals.
• Experience in a Texas classroom setting with TEKS standards and how to apply them in one-on-one instruction.
• Diagnose student gaps, adjust pacing, and explain concepts through multiple methods to meet students.
• Identify concepts students struggle with, explain material with multiple approaches, adapt to learning styles.
• Strong communication and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
