Businessolver is seeking a Test Engineer II to design, automate, and maintain UI and API test scripts within a fully remote Scrum team. You will document test cases in Xray, develop Cucumber tests for high automation coverage, and extend coverage from production bugs.

Collaborate with product and engineers to ensure optimal test strategies and quality across environments. The role emphasizes test automation, Agile/CI-CD practices, and continuous improvement, with a focus on delivering reliable

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years experience automating tests for a SaaS product.
• Proficient in scripting tests with Cucumber (Gherkin).
• Experience with testing tools such as Xray, HP QC, TestRail, Eclipse, GitLab, Selenium, Postman, SoapUI.
• Experience with Java, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience with ALM tools Jira and Confluence; distributed version control with Git.
• Experience on a team of 5+ in a fully remote environment; Agile/CI-CD practices.

• Design, create and maintain UI and API test scripts.
• Document new and maintain existing Test Cases using Xray.
• Develop new Cucumber test scripts to sustain >80% automated coverage.
• Extend test coverage by documenting and automating cases from production bugs.
• Analyze runlists to identify long-running steps and optimize.
• Participate in Test Planning discussions to maximize quality and coverage.
• Work with Scrum team to maintain steady sprint progress and unblock teammates.

• Estimate work and maintain predictable throughput toward sprint goals.

• Create, set up and maintain test data; configure test company for automation.
• Mentor and elevate other team members; evangelize quality.
• Perform manual testing as needed; clarify requirements with Product/Developers.
• Troubleshoot failing tests with limited information.
