Job summary

Orgill, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to support Central California markets including Visalia, Tulare, Kingsburg, Porterville and Selma. You will participate in sales meetings, assist in customer markets, and help implement projects at customer retail stores.

The role requires travel 4–5 days per week, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to relocate at company expense when assigned a territory. A bachelor's or associate degree is preferred, and two years of related sales experience

Qualifications

• Two years of related business or sales experience in our industry (retail or wholesale hardware, lumber, building materials, farm supply) preferred.
• Willing to travel 4–5 days per week on an ongoing basis.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Participate in sales meetings and customer markets.
• Participate in projects conducted at customer retail stores.
• Work in customer stores, at an Orgill distribution center, and the Customer Service Department.
• Travel with Sales Representatives, Sales Managers and Truck Drivers to observe and assist as assigned.
• Work selected sales territories in the absence of a regularly assigned Sales Representative.
