Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies, Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced Cost Estimation and Tender Manager to support industrial equipment projects. You will develop structured estimates, correlate data, and prepare bid packages for internal review and proposals.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least three years in tender management, cost estimation, and CRM usage (Salesforce/Oracle). Telecommuting is permitted; on-site presence in Plainfield, IL when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Three years of experience in tender management for industrial or process equipment.
• Three years of experience in cost estimation and bid preparation for industrial equipment.
• Two years of experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, Oracle).
• Two years of experience in industrial process system design or specification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system and equipment pricing for industrial thermal systems for chemical processing, by-product recovery, and water reclamation.
• Evolve customer and internal requirements and provide feedback on optimizing costing alternatives.
• Correlate design concepts into structured estimates with detailed equipment descriptions and material requirements.
• Obtain bids and costing information from fabricators and vendors to support inquiry costing.
• Assist in developing internal quantities for third party construction and material bid packages.
• Generate cost information for internal proposals and corporate review documents.
