Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Music Audio Expert - Telugu for a remote, contract role. You will evaluate AI-generated lyrics and voice outputs, score training data quality, and work with cross-functional teams to enhance music generation.

The position requires 3+ years in music production or audio engineering, a degree in music, and fluency in Telugu and English. Start date is immediate, and the project runs up to six months with about 10+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or sound mixer.
• College degree in music covering performance, theory, and lyrics.
• Native or near-native proficiency in both Telugu and English.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model output lyrics, voice generation, and other standards to enhance musical quality.
• Score the quality of musical training data to ensure high standards in model outputs.
• Collaborate with teams to improve AI model performance in generating music.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and project goals.
• Utilize expertise in writing music in the domain language to refine model outputs.
