Qualifikationen

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency.
• Board Certification by ABPN preferred or Board Eligible.
• Current, active, unrestricted US medical licensure in at least one state.
• Current, active, unrestricted DEA registration to prescribe controlled substances.
• Post-residency experience in outpatient psychiatry and psychopharmacology.

Aufgaben

• Conduct telepsychiatry evaluations and follow-ups via secure video conferencing.
• Develop and manage evidence-based psychopharmacology treatment plans.
• Preserve patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all documentation.
• Maintain EMR/clinical documentation per state medical board standards.
• Adhere to AMA/APA ethical principles and telepsychiatry regulations.
• Communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
• Optionally collaborate with therapists and other providers with patient consent.
• Set your own professional fees and manage billing with patients directly.
