Job summary

Carewell is seeking a Telepsychiatrist to join a remote, part-time 1099 contract pipeline. You will evaluate members with behavioral health needs and collaborate with the care team to create holistic care plans delivered via video or phone.

The role emphasizes initial evaluations, treatment recommendations, and care-team consultation to support whole-person care and safety considerations.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification (or eligibility) required.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state.
• Active DEA registration required.
• Located in the United States.
• 2+ years of post-residency psychiatric practice.
• Experience working with a multidisciplinary care team.
• Comfortable with telehealth platforms and EHRs.
• Own a private, HIPAA-appropriate workspace and reliable computer/internet.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations for members with behavioral health needs.
• Develop treatment recommendations and, where in scope, medication management.
• Coordinate with primary care and behavioral health providers to support continuity of care.
