Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Telepharmacy Technician to support remote dispensing operations within our Telepharmacy Remote Dispensing Pharmacy locations. You will perform daily pharmacy tasks under Pharmacist oversight, ensuring safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and adherence to SOPs while delivering compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT).
• State-level licensure requirements vary by state.
• 1+ years full-time experience as a Pharmacy Technician; CVS Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• If the state board does not address or mandate a minimum age, must be at least 18.
• If the state board does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or a high school equivalency program.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time.
• Assist pharmacists and the pharmacy team in processing prescriptions and patient care.
• Handle controlled substances dispensing and inventory with accuracy.
• Support immunization initiatives where allowed, including patient education and vaccine administration questions.
• Inventory management, cycles counts, returns-to-stocks, and loss prevention measures.
• Collaborate with Supervising Pharmacist and Telepharmacy Tech Team Leader to maintain SOP compliance.
• Travel to stores across the market as needed to cover shifts.
