Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Telepharmacy Technician to support Remote Dispensing Pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision. You will perform daily tasks to help ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient service across the remote network.

The role emphasizes SOP adherence, inventory control, and collaboration with the Telepharmacy Team Leader, while offering immunization support when trained and allowed by law. 40-hour work weeks and ongoing training are expected.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements including age, education, licensure/certification.
• If no minimum age is mandated, must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent or active enrollment in program.
• National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required.
• State licensure requirements vary by state.
• 1+ years full-time Pharmacy Technician experience; CVS Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide customer service and work well in a team environment.
• Follow pharmacy workflow and safety procedures; assist with controlled substances.
• Support immunizations and other pharmacist-led services when on-site.
• Travel to stores to cover shifts as needed in the market.
