Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy required.
• Hospital or community order verification experience preferred.
• Pharmacists transitioning from other settings are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Verify physician medication orders for accuracy, safety, dosing, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify potential drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, and dosing errors before approval.
• Provide virtual clinical support to prescribers, nurses, and on-site pharmacy staff.
• Document verification decisions in the pharmacy information system.
• Ensure compliance with state boards, DEA, and federal standards.
• Participate in quality-assurance initiatives that improve medication safety.
