Job summary

Pharmacy Careers is seeking a Remote Order Verification Pharmacist to join our telepharmacy team. This role allows you to review and approve medication orders from home, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while enjoying flexible shifts.

You'll verify orders, provide virtual clinical support to clinicians, and document decisions in our pharmacy information system. A PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy is required, with hospital or community order verification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PharmD or a Bachelor of Pharmacy.
• Experience in hospital or community order verification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment; comfortable with technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders for accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, and dosing errors.
• Provide virtual clinical support to prescribers, nurses, and on-site staff.
• Document verification decisions in the pharmacy information system.
• Ensure compliance with state boards, DEA, and federal standards.
• Support quality-assurance initiatives to improve medication safety.
