Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Verify physician medication orders for accuracy, safety, dosing, and regulatory compliance.
- Identify potential drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, and dosing errors before approval.
- Provide virtual clinical support to prescribers, nurses, and on-site pharmacy staff.
- Document verification decisions in the pharmacy information system.
- Ensure compliance with state boards, DEA, and federal standards.
- Participate in quality-assurance initiatives to improve medication safety.
