Job summary

QuickMD is seeking physicians licensed in at least five U.S. states to join our fully virtual telemedicine team as independent contractors (1099).

Compensation includes $35 per completed consult, approximately $105/hour for a 20-minute visit, and up to $210/hour for shorter visit times; top earners reach $260K+ annually. Physicians can work from anywhere, set a flexible weekly schedule, and receive credentialing support with malpractice insurance fully covered.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in at least five U.S. states; willing to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs).
• Experience with telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
