Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering high-quality virtual care across 44 states. This fully virtual role offers flexible scheduling as an independent contractor, requiring 15–20 hours per week and multiple state licenses.

Compensation is per consult ($35) with an hourly equivalence up to $210/hour for shorter visits; top earners exceed $260K annually. Training and credentialing support are provided to expand access to care.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states and willingness to obtain additional licenses.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs; training provided.
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history reviews.
• Deliver patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use; buprenorphine for opioid use disorder allowed in limited cases.
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth best practices.
