QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering virtual care across 44 states. This fully virtual role lets you set your own schedule as an independent contractor with no office overhead.

Compensation is $35 per completed consult (1099) equating to about $105/hour for a 20-minute visit, increasing to $210/hour with shorter visits; top earners exceed $260K annually. Requires active license in five states and 15–20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states; willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across at least four days; schedules submitted one week in advance
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs
• Active DEA registration and CSL where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
