Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider offering fully virtual care across 44 states. Physicians choose their schedule within a weekly framework and work from anywhere, supported by an EMR and provider-support team.

Joining as an independent contractor, you’ll earn $35 per completed consult or $105/hour for standard 20-minute visits, with pay increasing up to $210/hour for shorter visits. Top performers exceed $260K annually.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states; willingness to obtain additional state licenses (cover costs)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across at least four days per week
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
