Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider offering virtual care across 44 states. Physicians set their own visit schedule within a structured weekly framework and work from anywhere, supported by a streamlined EMR and a provider-support team.

Compensation is per completed consult ($35) or $105/hour for 20-minute visits, with pay increasing to $210/hour for shorter visit times; top earners exceed $260K+ annually as independent contractors.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses; QuickMD covers costs.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.
• Interest in expanding access to care, especially in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
