Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering high-quality virtual care across 44 states. Physicians work fully remotely with a flexible schedule and 1099 compensation.

The role emphasizes addiction care and expanding care access, supported by a streamlined EMR and provider-support team. Licensed physicians can work 15 hours per week across at least four days, with telehealth platforms and EHR tools provided.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly, across at least four days per week, with schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs and provides support).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
