Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering high‑quality virtual care across 44 states. All work is fully virtual with flexible scheduling and a clear per‑visit compensation model.

Physicians set their own week by week schedule as independent contractors, supported by a streamlined EMR and provider‑support team. The role emphasizes addiction care focus and growing telehealth programs, with compensation at $35 per completed consult and potential to reach up to $210/hour as visit times

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preference for three+ of AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across at least four days.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, especially in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and history reviews.
• Deliver patient-centered care and build doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and advise on proper use (no C-Substances except buprenorphine for OUD).
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, nurses and support staff to ensure care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
• Stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices.
