Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering virtual care across 44 states. All work is fully virtual; physicians set their own schedule within a structured weekly framework and work from anywhere.

Compensation is $35 per completed consult (1099, commission-based) with $105/hour at a 20-minute visit, rising to $210/hour for shorter visits; top earners exceed $260K annually. Requires active multi-state licensure and strong telemedicine experience.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX) with willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs and provides support).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly, across at least four days per week, with schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual care with patient assessments and medical history reviews.
• Prescribe medications and guide proper use (notably non-controlled substances; buprenorphine for MOUD exceptions).
• Order and interpret labs to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
