Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider offering fully virtual care across 44 states. Physicians set their own schedule within a structured weekly framework, work from anywhere, and are compensated per completed consult.

Licensure in multiple states is required, with QuickMD covering licensing costs. We seek dedicated physicians in primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preference for three or more of: AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across at least four days per week, with schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
